Private psychology by telehealth
Ixencion
A considered psychology practice, delivered online.
Ixencion was founded for people who need access to psychological work that is thoughtful, personal, and clinically grounded without being confined by distance, schedule, or generic service models.
Telehealth is the current setting. The aim is not convenience as a brand, but a clear room for meaningful therapeutic work to begin.
Why Ixencion exists
Access should not make therapy feel thin.
The practice began from a practical problem: many people are ready to start therapy, but the usual pathways are difficult to reach around work, family, distance, and limited local availability.
Ixencion answers that problem with telehealth, while holding to a deeper standard: the person in therapy must not disappear behind process, labels, or a rushed pathway.
The idea behind the name
The work returns to the I.
Ixencion carries a deeper practice philosophy: therapy should place the person who is living the life at the centre of the encounter.
The founder describes this as the "I" approached through intentionality, commitment, and self-discovery. Publicly, that means the practice is concerned with more than support language. It is concerned with the person who can understand, choose, and participate more consciously in their own life.
Reachable
Telehealth makes the practice easier to access when distance, schedule, or local availability would otherwise get in the way.
Grounded
The work is delivered by a registered psychologist and shaped by person-centred, cognitive behavioural, values-focused, and dynamic approaches.
Personal
The practice keeps attention on the person in therapy, not only the presenting issue or administrative pathway.
Founder-led. Clinically grounded. Practice-first.
Clinical grounding
A founder-led practice, not a biography-led brand.
Ixencion is led by Chris Humphrey, a registered psychologist. His role is to ground the practice clinically, not to make the website revolve around a personal profile.
The work is person-centred and informed by cognitive behavioural, values-focused, and dynamic therapies. That grounding supports a practice that is accessible, considered, and accountable.
Read about IxencionThe setting
Telehealth is the setting, not the identity.
Ixencion is delivered by telehealth because access matters when distance, time, or local availability make in-person care difficult. The format is used where it is clinically appropriate, with attention to privacy, safety, and fit.
TelehealthPractical information
The details are kept in their place.
Telehealth, fees, appointment, and referral information are available for people who need them. They support the practice; they do not define the brand.
