Two ways to work with Ixencion
Therapy by telehealth
Private therapy can be booked without a referral. Bulk-billed therapy needs both a Mental Health Treatment Plan and an eligible referral. With both in place, Ixencion claims the Medicare benefit and accepts it as full payment; you pay nothing for the session.
ADHD assessment
The private ADHD assessment starts with a free 15-minute consult. No GP referral is required to begin.

How to start
For therapy
Ask your usual GP practice about a Mental Health Treatment Plan and an eligible referral to a psychologist. Your GP can send both through HealthLink secure messaging (EDI: ixencion). Once the documents are ready, book online.
For an ADHD assessment
Book the free consult directly. An existing referral may still help care coordination, but it is not required to start.
