Services

  • Individual therapy by video, 50-minute sessions, bulk billed for patients with a valid MHTP referral, with no gap for the patient. Written updates to you after the initial consultation, after the sixth session, and at the end of treatment.
  • Adult ADHD assessment by telehealth at a flat private fee of $360 including the report. Patients can self-refer for assessment; therapy afterwards is bulk billed with a valid referral.

Good referrals for this practice

Patients 16 and over who can engage by video and have a private space. The adult ADHD assessment begins with a free 15-minute consult. Common presentations: anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and adjustment.

Not suitable: acute crisis, active psychosis, high risk of harm, or presentations needing intensive coordinated care.

How to refer

Send the referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan by HealthLink secure messaging (EDI: ixencion), or by email to reception@ixencion.com.au. Patients can also upload referral documents through the secure route at booking. Each referral is acknowledged by reply.

What you receive back

Written updates after the initial consultation, after the sixth session (supporting the Mental Health Treatment Plan review), and at the end of treatment. Reporting to the referrer is part of the referral, so it does not depend on separate consent.

Referral eligibility

From November 2025, Better Access referrals must come from the patient’s usual practice or their MyMedicare-registered practice, a psychiatrist, or a paediatrician. Referrals run per course of treatment, not a calendar period.
